T-ara (티아라, pronounced as Tiara) is a popular South Korean female pop group, with hit songs like TTL, Bo Beep Bo Beep, Crazy Because of You, and Roly Poly etc.

The seven members of T-ara are Boram, Qri, Soyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon and Hwayoung. Check out T-ara member profiles for more personal details.

T-ara released their first song, Good Person, in April 2009. The group was reshuffled before making their official debut in July with single Lies, which wasn't well received. The girls made their redemption with TTL (Time to Love) in September – a special collaboration with boyband Supernova which became a huge hit.

T-ara followed up with their Absolute First Album in December, which includes the highly popular Bo Peep Bo Peep. A repackage album, Breaking Heart, was released in February 2010, with new song Crazy Because of You a chart topper as well. The girls released their first mini-album, Temptastic (YaYaYa the main track), in December with moderate success. A new member, Hwayoung, was also officially introduced.

T-ara made their 2011 comeback in June with another mini-album, John Travolta Wannabe (Roly Poly the main track), which did pretty well.

Super Junior (Korean: 슈퍼주니어; Japanese: スーパージュニア; Chinese: 超级少年) is a South Korean boy band formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2005. The group debuted with 12 members: Leeteuk (leader), Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kibum and later added a 13th member named Kyuhyun. As of September 2011, eight members are currently active,due to Han Geng's lawsuit with S.M.

Entertainment which led to him leaving the group (now pursuing his own singing career in the Mandarin pop entertainment industry), Heechul and Kangin's temporary leave of absence for mandatory military service, Siwon's filming for his upcoming drama Poseidon (in which shooting of the drama are located at the farthest areas of South Korea, making him to temporary halt his activities with the group) and Kibum's pursuit of an acting career. However, the other members have insisted that all four (Heechul, Kangin, Kibum and Han Geng) are still part of the group, despite mentioning that they are saddened by Han Geng's departure from the group.

Super Junior has released and contributed 20 records with varying degrees of success. Over the years, they have been divided into smaller subgroups, simultaneously targeting different music industries and audiences. Largely due to Super Junior's success as entertainers, other Korean entertainment managements began to train their music groups in other areas of entertainment, such as acting and hosting. In addition to their commercial success, Super Junior has earned twelve music awards from the Mnet Asian Music Awards, eleven from the Golden Disk Awards, and is the second singing group to win Favorite Artist Korea at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards after jtL in 2003.

2PM is a South Korean boy band, originally a seven-member group, but currently consisting of six members[1] due to the sudden contract termination of leader Jaebeom following an Internet controversy in September 2009. They are managed by JYP Entertainment. The current members are Junsu, Junho, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Chansung.

2PM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member (before Jaebeom's departure) boy band One Day, the other being 2AM. They debuted with the song "10 Jeom Manjeome 10 Jeom" (10점 만점에 10점, lit. 10 Points Out of 10 Points), which showcased their acrobatic dance styles. On the cover of KoreAm, August 2010 On February 25, 2010, JYP Entertainment announced that Park Jaebeom would not be returning to 2PM, as his contract with the company had been permanently terminated. A fan meeting/press conference was held two days later with the 6 remaining members of 2PM and JYP Entertainment CEO Choi Jungwook in attendance, where it was announced that although 2PM would continue promoting as 6 members, a new leader would not be chosen to replace Park.

In mid-April 2010, 2PM released image and video teasers for their third single Don't Stop Can't Stop, for which the group promised to showcase an even stronger side of themselves than before.The EP, containing six tracks, was released on April 19, 2010. The lead single, Without U, quickly rose to the #1 position on 6 different music charts.The group made their television performance comeback on Mnet's music program M! Countdown on April 22, 2010.

2PM has been confirmed as the opening act for their label-mates, popular girl group Wonder Girls for 9 shows on the latter's United States headlining summer tour.2PM also performed at the 8th annual Korea Times Music Festival in Los Angeles, California on May 1, 2010, and at the Dream Concert in Seoul, South Korea on May 22, 2010. On May 24, 2010, 2PM released the song "What's Your Celebration?" for the FIFA 2010 World Cup.The song samples K'Naan's Wavin' Flag. On July 11, Taecyeon & Wooyoung left the position of MCs at SBS Inkigayo. And a while after, on August 2, Wooyoung also left Winwin to concentrated on 2PM's busy schedule. Then they have prepared so hard for their 1st concert in Seoul & Busan. The 1st concerts took place on July 31, August 1 (in Seoul) & August 7, 8 (in Busan) (2AM & missA were invited as the guests of the concert).

2PM's first concerts were ended successfully with the number of 12,000 people (not only are Korean, but also come from Japan, Taiwan, China & Thailand) attended each day. In these concerts, 2PM performed in turn all their hit-songs since 2008. Also, the members put their impressive solo performances on the stage; which attracted a lot attention. The concerts ended with the song "THANK YOU" written by 2PM. 2PM sent the messages to all fans, who always stand by them & support them no matter what. On October 11, 2010, 2PM released their fourth extended play, Still 2:00PM,[28] with the lead single "I'll Be Back" staying at number one for two consecutive weeks in the Music Bank.On November 1, 2010, Still 2:00PM debuted unexpectedly on the 13th spot of the Billboard's World Album-Chart though no specific promotions for the album were made in the US.

On March 6, 2011, it was announced that 2PM will release their Japanese Debut-Single "Take Off" on May 18, which was also featured as an Ending Song for the Blue Exorcist anime series.Due to the major online pre-order of the limited version A, regular version and limited version B of the single, "Take Off" has ranked from No. 1 to 3, respectively, on the pre-order chart of Tower Records Japan.It has also reached No.1 in the USEN's J-Pop Chart. 2PM is the first Korean band that has reached that spot in this particular chart.

After 2PM's brief venture to the Japanese music market, JYP Entertainment released a set of publicity photos of the band along the tracklist of their upcoming second studio album entitled "Hands Up" on June 12, 2011. One day later, MTV Korea announced the release date of the album as June 20.

At just 13 years-old, Greyson Chance has accomplished more than many musicians can hope for in their careers; two successful North American tours, performing at the White House, national television appearances on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,”, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “Good Morning America,” and now the release of his debut album Hold On ‘Til The Night (eleveneleven/Maverick/Streamline/Geffen).




In April 2010, the sixth-grader’s brother posted a clip on YouTube of Chance performing Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” at a choir event in his hometown of Edmond, Oklahoma; since then Chance’s life has been a whirlwind of exciting opportunities. The now infamous performance went on to become YouTube’s #3 most popular video of 2010 and has received over 40 million views to date. The clip also caught the eye of a producer at the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” which led to Chance’s first guest appearance. Only a week later, during his second appearance on her show, DeGeneres announced that she had signed Greyson as the first artist on her newly formed label, eleveneleven. Chance has now appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” eight times and debuted his singles “Waiting Outside the Lines” and “Unfriend You” on the program. “Without Ellen, none of this would have happened. She's been so supportive of me and my music from the very beginning, and has also become an amazing friend!” says Chance.

Chance has seen success out of the gate. His debut single “Waiting Outside the Lines” has sold over 160 thousand copies to date and was recently the #1 physical single in the country for four straight weeks. Chance has also toured North America with fellow teens iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove and Australian pop star Cody Simpson. Of his live performance, The Washington Post said that “catching Chance [perform] at this stage in his career is akin to watching a thoroughbred of impeccable breeding gallop as a yearling. He doesn’t have his legs under him yet, and stumbles are possible, but the raw materials are such that it’s hard to bet against him running with the big boys in a few years.”

The next step for Chance is the release of his debut album Hold On ‘Til The Night which he recorded in Los Angeles with famed producers such as The Matrix (Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, Jason Mraz, Britney Spears) and Billy Steinberg (Enrique Iglesias, Katherine McPhee, Miranda Cosgrove). Unlike many teen artists, Chance took on much of the writing for this debut record. "Writing and recording this album has been such a fun and exciting journey!” said Chance. “I've put so much hard work into it and I can't wait for the world to hear it. It's about overcoming fears but always powering through, and I think it's a message my fans will really relate to," he added.

Hold On ‘Til The Night not only showcases Chance’s talents as a songwriter, vocalist and piano player but also his wide range of influences.
